For many years, women have suffered because they had to forsake comfort in their quest to find a stylish, fashionable shoe that looked great on them. Fashion never seem to equate to being practical.

My mom is a business women and she stocks a lot of merchadise and I like to surprise her with a brand new spankin new nice shoes that no one will ever lay their hands on or dare to throw them away….Her friend gave her a pair but she has no idea what happen to them. They just disappeared and my dad must have thrown them away.He keeps throwing everything away of hers and he has no respect…
Can someone give me some brands that she thinks will work great with her feet and won’t give her any aggravation and no pain?

What are some preppy shoes for girls?
What is considered “preppy” shoes for women? I’m looking for something that can be worn in the spring/summer for every day wear(therefore it has to be comfortable, not those super high heels or those uncomfortable ballet flats)
When I say preppy I don’t mean American Eagle, A&F or Hollister. I mean classic prep, example being bright colors, pearls, cable knit sweaters etc.
Any recommendations for the shoes? Thanks in advance.

Are ballet flats trendy in Italy, or a fashion faux pas?
I’m traveling to Italy for two weeks soon, and I’d like to pick up a pair of comfy shoes for all the sight-seeing and trekking. I was told that sneakers are a major no-no fashion-wise. I love ballet flats; I find them super comfortable and they can be easily found in styles that suit casual to classy dress. The question is, will wearing them mark me as a fashion dunce? I know italian women love their heels, but I’m skeptical about the comfort of walking 6+ hours a day in heeled shoes!
Alternatively, are flat-heeled, tall boots in style? What about heeled boots that have wedge heels?
For those who tell me to be sensible and just wear whatever comfortable shoes I want – I really am looking for fashion advice. I know I could just wear sneakers and be done with it, but I want to fit in somewhat with the chic italian culture.

I have been a huge junkie for comfortable shoes, I live in Southern California and its hardly too cold. COLD winter is just too short here. SO I am almost always in flip flops or sandals. After researching and buying and trying them out myself I found 3 pairs of shoes I absolutely LOVE. My daughter is constantly on the run and I feel much better chasing after her in comfortable shoes!!
Almost everyone have seen Crocs. They are super cute on kids but it’s odd for adults. But I still wear them. Hahaha… There is a lot of types of crocs for women. One I found most comfortable and not as ugly is the mary jane crocs. They are not as wide like clown shoes. They are having a sale on that item on there website so I grabbed couple more in different colors as soon I saw them.
Second, is probably my favorite. A lot of people gave me hmm compliments? It’s extremely different.. if you are not a fan you might just hate it. It’s called hotflops. You just have to check it out yourself. Hotflops.com These are not just cute! they are super comfortable. If you think the decorations are too much, they do have just the plain hotflops. My daughter isnt old enough to wear the big girl sizes, but when she can. I am plnning on buying her couple pairs of her own. THey are super fun and comfortable.
Third is Okabashi. I just have there regular flip flops. They come in about 12 or more different colors. They are GREAT! These were not as expansive as the other ones above and they are 100% comfort! I buy these for friends and family all the time.
