I’ve been looking around with no luck finding shoes that work with wide feet that feel comfortable. Can be nursing shoes or sneakers. Must be all white. No or very low heel. No clogs
I have VERY SEVERE foot problems and constant extreme pain and the ONLY two shoes that I have found to be comfortable for standing and walking in are JoyWalkers by FootJoy (a golfing sneaker) and New Balance -they make these in every size and width if you go to a professional shoe store they can properly size and fit your foot for good support and comfort). Nursing Shoes Suggestion?
I have a question for those who are nurses or who work in a health care setting. I am starting my clinicals for nursing school in January and I am looking to get really nice comfortable shoes. They have to be all white and heel and toe completely enclosed, meaning no clogs, but tennis shoes are allowed. The only problem is that last year I sprained my ankle very bad, with an air cast and crutches for a while after. It never healed properly and I have a lot of scar tissue and pain. They wanted to do surgery, but I refused, seeing as I have been on the waiting list for this seat for two years. I have great grades, but the amount of teachers is nowhere near enough to accommodate the amount of students in the program. I have waited so long for my seat, there is no chance I am going to give it up, which would inevitably happen if I got surgery. Therefore, I am looking for shoes that are going to be comfortable and hopefully be supportive enough that I can stand for long periods of time without being in too much pain. All suggestions are helpful. Thanks!
You can buy crocs now that look semi formal. I have a family member who is a nurse and she loves them.

What brands of dress shoes are comfortable and supportive, but still stylish?
I’m new to teaching, and I’m on my feet all day long. So far everything I’ve tried (sandals, heels, ballet flats) has killed my feet by the end of the day! I’m not allowed to wear tennis shoes, or I would! I usually wear skirts or dress pants and nice blouses, so I’d like to find some dress shoes that are comfortable and SUPPORTIVE (very important, as I have no arches), but still dressy and stylish. Can anyone recommend any brands? Or stores? I’ll even order them online if I feel like they’re supportive. I looked into nursing shoes, but I don’t want to wear Crocs, and most of the nursing shoes won’t work for my job. But nurses, hairdressers, and anyone else who spends most of their workday on their feet, what do you all wear? I would REALLY appreciate any helpful suggestions!!! Thank you!

Out of all the different brands of shoes and types of Nursing shoes, does anyone have a personal favorite or know of which is proven to be the best for being on your feet for 12 hours? What about the Shape-Ups or any other fitness shoe? I don’t care about price very much. I don’t mind style, as long as it’s comfortable, helpful, and all white. Thank you!
I have some shoes that are like Keds, but I come home with my feet sore and my knees hurting.
